Iranian Java Expert Makes Presentation to Computer Science Graduate Students at Maharishi University of Management

Ali Parvini with Iranian students at MUM

Last week, Iranian Software Consultant/Architect and Java instructor Ali Parvini spoke with our students and faculty on the topic of  "Misleading Issues in Java." The room was overflowing, and the presentation was very well received. Ali is founder and chairman of an Oracle Java User Group (JUG) with more than 7600 members, and has presented more than 100 seminars, workshops and training courses in Java. He is also the founder and chairman of the Iran Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) which just celebrated its 10th anniversary. This year Ali was designated as one of only a couple dozen Distinguished Speakers in the world by the ACM. He hopes to return to teach more seminars and courses at MUM.
