Distinguished Professor Joins the Faculty
The MUM Computer Science Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Premchand S. Nair to the faculty. Professor Nair's background in object oriented design with Java, and relational database design present a perfect fit for MUM's highly regarded MS in Computer Science program, which emphasizes software engineering with object oriented programming. He will be teaching courses on object oriented design using Java, relational database systems, and advanced database systems.
In the past 14 years, Dr. Nair has authored or co-authored eight books on Java programming, database design, and fuzzy mathematics, along with numerous journal and conference publications. His latest book is Java Programming Fundamentals: Problem Solving Through Object Oriented Analysis and Design (2010, CRC Press). More about Professor Nair.
